REKINDLED IRONMAN is a KCBS / PA State Championship BBQ Competition to test your skills as a barbecue pit master, without the benefits of electrical controls or unlimited meats to select from!
What that Means For You
It means you are with Meat, Charcoal, Wood, Meat, Thermometers, Matches, and Smokers!
No Gurus, Stokers, Digital Stay-In BBQ, Oven, or Roasting Thermometers, Rotisseries, and
No Remote Meat Thermometers or LP Gas Tourches, No Pellet Cookers, Electrical Vacuum Marinators.
It's An Ironman
That means we will only allow in your cooler: (1) Rack of Ribs, & (7) Pieces of Chicken (one to taste)

Why Choose This Format

Do I have to do the Ironman Format?
Absolutely NOT! This is entirely voluntary and will help you save money via a reduced entry fee and make more money via higher prize payouts, but that is entirely up to you! If you commit to doing it, you must do it or face the possibility of disqualification.
People's Choice Contest
The People's Choice Contest will be judged by the public. Choose from Wings or Pork. Each team will receive 10 lbs of wings and/or 1 pork butt to cook by any method! Wing competition is open to anyone pro or amateur. IF YOU THINK YOUR WINGS or PORK ARE GOOD ENOUGH TO BEAT THE PROS, HERE IS YOUR CHANCE TO PROVE IT!

1st: $500 and a trophy
2nd: $300 and a trophy
3rd: $150 and a trophy
4th: Trophy
5th: Trophy

The public can purchase and vote after teams turn in the wings/pork: $10/12 wings, $10 for 12 samples of pork.
